What understanding and skills will I develop?

It provides an opportunity for developing further understanding of scientific explanations, understanding of how science works and the study of elements of applied science with particular relevance to professional scientists. It will prepare candidates for progression to further learning in the sciences.

How will I be assessed?

Three unit exams, each assessing the content learnt. Each exam counts for 25% of the final grade, totalling 75%. A controlled assessment completed within school will assess How Science Works and is worth 25% of the final grade.
