BTEC Level 2 Extended certificate Hospitality (Edexcel)

What topics will I study?

You will cover different food related units from health and safety within the catering industry. Investigate the Catering and Hospitality Industry, Products, Services and Support in the Hospitality Industry, Principles of Customer Service in Hospitality, Leisure, Travel and Tourism.

What understanding and skills will I develop?

Give learners the opportunity to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through the completion of different units which cover a range of topics.

What can this course lead to?

Give full-time learners the opportunity to enter employment in the hospitality industry or to progress to vocational qualifications such as the Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Nationals in Hospitality.
